This is my morning walk around Asokmontri Road in February 2021. A lot of street foods and grab and go food stalls are sell around the outside of MRT (subway) station. When the office workers take off the train, they can buy food for breakfast easily before go to their office. Asok area is one of the many office buildings and university so many people and university students are walking past this route all day. This street is one of the busy street and traffic jam in Bangkok.

Lunchtime - Asok-Walmarkt ตลาดนัดปลาวาฬ soi sukhumvit 16. Das Gebiet um BTS Asok in Bangkok, Thailand, ist das größte Geschäftsviertel des Landes. Deshalb kommen viele thailändische Büroangestellte hierher, um zu Mittag zu essen, wenn die Mittagszeit beginnt. Vor allem zwischen 12:20 und 12:40 Uhr ist es sehr voll. This area is around with local market, community mall, a variety of street foods, street restaurants, office buildings, condominium and shops. This area is one of the busy street of Bangkok because many peoples are buying street foods and walk pass this street. I think this living area is so convenient about foods and public transportation. You can see Thai life style is connect with street foods so most of the side walk in Bangkok and also around BTS station have abundant street foods in both morning and evening.

Let's go shopping and see if we get lucky! Today we shall see if I will get lucky in Bangkok's largest second hand shop. I have been wanting to visit Lucky Home Samrong for quite some time and decided that today was the day to do it. This has to be Bangkok's largest second hand shop! It takes up 3 separate warehouses. All the goods in this shop are imported from Japan. The main focus of Lucky Home Samrong is musical instruments, stereo equipment, speakers, portable radios as well as a huge section dedicated to cameras and lenses. If you are looking for any of these things, this is the place for you. I have never seen so many used stereos, cameras, lenses and records in one place. a must see if you like second hand markets and shops!

It's been a while, but I am back doing what I love. I love just exploring random areas, and i got to tell you, Bangkok's little known outlying areas are a hidden treasure. Today I take you to an area I have passed several times and really wanted to explore. We start off at the Royal Thai Naval Museum for a quick tour. Next I take you to a public part (or so I thought) of the Royal Thai Naval Academy. Not deterred by the set back, I continue on to another marine themed destination. After that, I find a nice secluded Khlong (river) side community where I marvel at the elevated walkways that actually have rails (a rarity in Thailand). Having walked over 10km through the province of Samut Prakan, I was happy to go back into civilization for a quick Thai street food meal. Much to my surprise I stumbled into an awesome hidden gem at the very end of my day of exploring. Join me for another day of exploration and randomness here in the country of Thailand.

The Samut Prakan City Observatory. Great views of the river mouth of the Chao Phraya River. Easy to reach by BTS, take the train to the Pak Nam station (E19). It's a 550 meters walk. The future entrance fee will be 60 THB for adults and 40 THB for kids. Easy and nice day out in bangkok. The observatory is open daily from 10:00 till 17:00, but closed on Monday. The tower is 180 meters high, the same as a 54 floor building. Great views of the Bangkok skyline.

Nice Evening at Samut Prakan, we visited the Samut Prakan River Walk and after that we visited the Black Market which has a lot of Thai Street Food. This is an easy trip that you can do by BTS from the Bangkok City Center.
Samut Prakan is a province just South of Bangkok that can be reached by BTS Skytrain. It is just a 30 minutes ride from the Asok BTS station to the Pak Nam station where you can enjoy a nice stroll along the river. This is the place where the Chao Prayah River flows into the Gulf of Thailand.

This is Bangpu Recreation Center is on Samut Prakan's coast with the Gulf of Siam, and just to the east of the mouth of the Chao Phraya River. It is located in Samut Prakan province of Thailand. It is a short distance from Bangkok. From November towards the end of April every year, a lot of seagulls from Siberia, Mongolia, Tibet and China fly south to warmer destinations in order to avoid the freezing winter at home and stay here along the seaside. Bangpu Recreation Centre is one of their favourite place, because of the vast mangrove forests that fill the area with natural food sources. Towards the end of the year, Bang Pu becomes a place for birdwatching that attracts an overwhelming number of tourists. Many tourists loved to visit for watching birds, feeding birds, taking pictures and enjoying the fresh air on the bridge .

Paya Thai is the station where the Airport Rail Link (ARL) and the BTS line connect. You can go from any BTS station in town towards Paya Thai and take the train towards Suvarnabhumi there.
Most people that fly to Thailand go to Suvarnabhumi Airport and the airport Railway Link is an easy way to travel to the city. The Paya Thai Area also has some interesting construction projects going on.
There is a new office building being build. It is called "the Unicorn" it's a 51 stories high office building that should be ready in the second quarter of 2023

Today I take you to try a $1.45 buffet in Bangkok, the world's cheapest all you can eat buffet. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I arrived at the Rice and Curry Buffet just outside Lumphini Park in Bangkok, Thailand. At just 50 Baht ($1.45 US) this has to be the world's cheapest all you can eat buffet. I was impressed to find 2 types of rice, 12 different dishes, 2 soups and ice tea. All for the ridiculously low price of just 50 Baht, or $1.45. Join me as I sample each dish at this busy sidewalk buffet. Every day hundreds of people come to eat here as the food is good and cheap.
Not only is this most likely the cheapest buffet in the world, all the dishes I tried were actually quite tasty! It was great to sit outside and see all the different taxi drivers, motorbike delivery drivers and just everyday people enjoying a good inexpensive meal. I even ran into some fellow youtubers @grifsfoodandtravel who were also enjoying this ridiculously cheap buffet in Bangkok. Cheap food isn't always good, but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of this street food buffet. Definitely give it a try if you are ever near Lumphini park here in Bangkok, Thailand.

This place is the new attraction in Bangkok where is located near Chong Nonsi BTS skytrain station. Khlong Chong Nonsi park open for the first phase on December 25th 2021 which is a Christmas Day so it is decorated in Christmas and New Year Theme with a lot of colorful lights. This place along Chong Nonsi canal is being renovated to be the Klong Chong Nonsi Public Park. The canal park is divided into five parts, spanning from Surawong Road to the Chao Phraya River. The first section expected to be completed will be the second part of the canal park from Sathon Road to Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra 7, while the remaining construction is expected to finish by August next year. There are a lot of people go to take a photo at there. The skywalk from the BTS Skytrain station which is connecting with Khlong Chong Nonsi park will open by the end of January 2022.

Dies ist die Abendatmosphäre rund um die BTS-Station Saphan Taksin und den Sathorn Pier in Bangkok in Thailand. Dieses Gebiet liegt an der Straße Charoen Krung im Bezirk Bangrak in Bangkok. Diese Straße liegt in der Nähe des Sathon Pier, wo viele Menschen mit dem Boot über den Fluss zum Einkaufszentrum Icon Siam fahren. Der Sathon-Pier ist ein wichtiger Pier am Fluss Chao Phraya und liegt unterhalb der Taksin-Brücke. Es ist der Hauptpier des Chao Phraya Express Boat und der MINE Smart Ferry, an dem alle Dienste halten. Es gibt auch eine Fährverbindung über den Fluss vom Pier nach Charoen Nakhon in Thonburi. This BTS sky train station is on Ratchaphruek Road in both Thonburi District and Chom Thong District of Bangkok. There are street foods, street stalls and low rise commercial buildings. This area is not a busy road and quite far from downtown of Bangkok. But the good point is silent area for living and convenient to take a sky train go to downtown.
